ZOOOM Contributing to the OSI’s Open Source AI Definition

Team members Ivo Emanuilov and Jutta Suksi have been actively contributing to the ongoing OSI-led process on defining Open Source AI.

We have been asked to provide input and clarifications and parts of the definition inspired by our contribution in 2023 during the Deep Dive webinar series organised by the Open Source Initiative.

Our contributions, which are now reflected in current v.0.0.9 of the definition, include the requirements for data information disclosure and enablement. We are now collaborating with the OSI team to explore the role of reproducibility in open source AI.
