ZOOOM presented on Open Source in Industrial Applications

ZOOOM co-organised an online event in collaboration with EIT Manufacturing, the Vanguard AI Pilot leading team, and the AI Regio 5.0 Project on 16 September from 3.30-5.30pm.

The event brought together leading experts and stakeholders to explore the transformative potential of open source AI within the manufacturing sector, including how open source AI shapes algorithm development and the broader AI ecosystem, and delved into the ethics of AI and its role in industrial business generation.

We featured engaging panel discussions covering critical topics such as ethics, openness, and the opportunities AI brings to the industrial sector. Team members Elisa Morganti, Jutta Suksi and Ivo Emanuilov talked about the business and licensing challenges of deploying open source AI in industrial applications. Attendees were also introduced to the innovative ZOOOM Toolkit, designed to support AI and industrial collaborations.

The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, allowing participants to dive deeper into the subjects discussed and engage directly with experts.
