Who could benefit from ZOOOM results?

ZOOOM Stakeholders

ZOOOM aims to raise awareness on the importance of intellectual property generation and management for valorisation strategies in open collaborative and open innovation ecosystems which rely on the three core open technologies – open data, open software, and open hardware (‘the 3Os’), by addressing:

  • knowledge generators, be they IP generators or IP users, that could – through a feedback loop – contribute to the generation of knowledge in IP generation and management, such as public and private research institutions’ personnel, employees at research and development departments, start-ups, small and medium enterprises, large companies, associations and/or interested groups of professionals;
  • supporting organisations that help knowledge generators by advising, counselling, training and supporting valorisation of their intellectual property, such as innovation agencies, technology transfer offices, patent information centres (often referred to as PATLIBs), digital innovation hubs (DIHs), European digital innovation hubs (EDIHs), etc.; and
  • key stakeholders that are mainly interested in the impact of intellectual property exploitation, such as the policy makers and professional organisations active at both EU and national levels. For the purposes of the ZOOOM Project, investors, venture capitals, business angels and others relevant for the success of new business, as well as communities of professionals or major individual contributors are also included herein.

ZOOOM also addresses civil society organisations, legal and business professionals, research and academia, and media actively working with the 3Os.

With regards to the above, ZOOOM is looking for synergy with projects, organizations and formal/informal networks working in the 3Os’ sub-domains and/or any of the key technology use-cases involved in the project (artificial intelligence, quantum technologies and Internet of Trust, blockchain, and robotics). If your project or initiative falls within our areas of expertise, get in contact with us and let us know how we can best contribute to each other’s activities!
