ZOOOM is Going to OpenFest 2023!
OpenFest is the biggest Bulgarian conference dedicated to free culture, free knowledge sharing, free and open source software. It is the most anticipated annual gathering of fans, creators and supporters of open source and free art in Bulgaria ever since 2003. The purpose of OpenFest is to promote projects created with free and open software and to provide a forum for exchanging ideas and best practices in the field. Themes related to free/open art also have their reserved spot in the festival’s program.
ZOOOM Talk on Open Source Machine Learning has been accepted in the technical track of Open Fest 2023. In this talk, Ivo Emanuilov, IP Lawyer / Researcher, KU Leuven Centre for IT & IP Law – imec In, will discuss the different approaches to reasoning about machine learning in intellectual property terms and how the way we define open source machine learning and the objectives pursued with this definition are key to shaping future licensing and business models (in English). ZOOOM will be further represented by Alexandra Tsvetkova, LIBRe Foundation (Bulgaria).
You are welcome to join us in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 4-5 November 2023, or wait for the recorded sessions to be published afterwards. Festival agenda is already already available here.
