ZOOOM at the Open Festival Trento

ZOOOM organised a validation activity of the prototype of the ZOOOM Toolkit during the Trento Open Festival which took place from 6-8 June 2024 in Trento. We tested the toolkit with 10 participants, as follows 2 innovation intermediaries, 3 researchers, and 5 startups.

Trento Open Festival was created to promote the meeting and sharing of experiences between the different actors whose activity is linked to the use or development of open technologies, including open-source software, open data and open hardware: from research to startups, from companies to public administrations, from investors to professionals in the sector.

The initiative aimed to raise awareness on economic, legal, and technological issues related to open source, to promote cohesion and networking between the various realities that revolve around open source issues, and to incentivise sharing of knowledge and recent developments to inspire innovation and foster collaboration.
