SFSCON promotes the use of Free Software in digital infrastructures as a tool to<strong>\u00a0achieve greater innovation and competitiveness<\/strong>.\u00a0This year edition took place in Bolzano, Italy, on <strong>11-12 November 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Digital freedoms that free software grants to users and developers rely on legal instruments and the legal system to be able to enforce them. Nevertheless, it can be difficult to understand and comply with the legal frameworks involved that guarantee the continued enjoyment of these freedoms. <strong>Understanding <\/strong>and <strong>complying <\/strong>with <strong>free software legal and licensing obligations<\/strong> is important to keep a software project safe from legal threats, and to build a healthy free software environment based on openness and community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The FSFE Legal Education Day Track features a few talks, Q&amp;A sessions as well as a workshop in order to facilitate a better understanding of these legal frameworks and compliances.
