Target

This course is designed for beginners who are curious about the way open-source software, open hardware and open data projects work. Participants who may wish to know more about the way open source development works in practice, ie, what tools and environments are used, what facilitates collaboration, and how the licensing model supports the development model. Well-suited for PATLIBs, Digital Innovation Hubs, Technology Transfer Offices, and individual developers and knowledge creators.

Introduction (Description of Module’s content)

This module is designed to introduce participants to certain more advanced technological aspects of open source development, such as principles and tips for building and deployment of open source projects across the three “Os”, that is software, hardware and data.
